Whoops. Forgot some Red Belt stuff.
/Coming back from the VA this morning, suddenly occurred to me that I had left the craziest thing off the post from yesterday. About Red Belt.
The POV is that you are the harp.
Not that you play the harp.
When you perceive something, by being human, there is a resonance set up and some of your strings vibrate.
If it’s something that your history tells you is fearful, you’ll probably get the “fear response” chord.
If it’s something that your history tells you is attractive, you’ll probably get the “attractive response” chord.
Now, since there isn’t a strong self-identification with the character being resonated, it’s probably not going to be that loud of a response-chord.
In the old paradigm, where your BOS was up about reinforcing your Primal Character and identifying the possible threats, “strength of response” was usually seen as a marker of importance. Positive or negative value, that strength of response.
As a human being, it’s there.
You may have to practice developing your new ear to hear what the old ear can’t.
You’re not looking for power chords from AC/DC.
You’re looking for very faint sounding violin.
The idea is NOT to power stroke a chord to get what you want.
Strangely enough, the idea is to let the chord move you in the direction of fullness.
You’re practicing not being in charge.
You’re practicing not making “I” the locus of decisions.
In this particular example, you’d be practicing “chord-response-of-harp pointing towards fullness”.
You’re following the “flow”.
Which points to the POV of Green Belt, which is “flow”.
Again, your exact words/experience of this may differ.
The physics will be the same.
More on the “Why do this?” tomorrow.
